Pastor Laura Alvarez came to Jourdanton Methodist Church on June 26, 2022.  Pastor Laura has been a Pastor since 2008 serving numerous small churches throughout South Texas. Pastor Laura officially became a Pastor in the Global Methodist Church in May 2023.  Pastor Laura is married to Bro. Alex Alvarez, also a Global Methodist Pastor.  Pastor Laura and Bro. Alex have a Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua) named Sadie.
